Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary Bharatpur:- The Keoladeo Ghana National Park used to be known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. During hibernal seasons, the sanctuary is home to many migratory birds. The park was designated a protected area in 1971 and later added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The bird sanctuary, a man-made wetland, is an important national park in Rajasthan.

The bird sanctuary houses 379 species of flowers, 366 birds species, and many other animals. It is home to some of the most diverse avian habitats in the world. It was established around 250 years ago. The sanctuary is named after the Keoladeo Temple that is located within its grounds. The Keoladeo Ghana National Park hosts as many as 1,00,000.

Sariska National Park Alwar: The Sariska Tiger Reserve, which is located in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, is one of the most important national parks in Rajasthan. It was once the State’s hunting ground. In 1955, the sanctuary was designated a Wildlife Reserve and brought under Project Tiger in 1978. Sariska Tiger reserve’s most striking feature is its large population of Royal Bengal Tigers.

There are many wild animals in the reserve, including Rhesus monkeys and Hanuman langurs, wild boars and hares. It covers an area of 866 km2. Sariska Tiger Sanctuary is the first Tiger Reserve in the country to have successfully managed tiger rehabilitation and relocation.

Desert National Sanctuary Jaisalmer: The Desert National Park is a major national park in Rajasthan. It is located near Jaisalmer. The national park covers an area of 3162 kilometres and is the largest in India. Tourists from all parts of the world love the unique scenery of the national parks. Nearly 20% of the park’s land is made up of sand dunes. Rest of the landmark is made up of intermedial areas and salt lake bottoms, fixed dunes, and craggy rock.

This is a great example of the desert ecosystem. It is home to the endangered Great Indian Bustard and other desert birds such as sand grouses, kestrels and laggar falcons. The Sam Sand Dunes, located in the Thar Desert, are another attraction near Desert National Park. One of Rajasthan’s most visited tourist spots is the Gadsisar Sgar Tank. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary Kumbhalgarh: The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary can be found in Rajsamand, Rajasthan. This sanctuary is one the most well-known wildlife sanctuaries of Rajasthan. The sanctuary covers 578 km2 and surrounds Kumbhalgarh Fort. The sanctuary is located at an elevation between 500 and 1300 metres. It houses a wide range of wildlife, many of which are endangered.

The sanctuary is home to a variety of animals, including chinkaras (hares), four-horned antelopes (4H), sambhar (6H), jungle cats (5H), hyenas, sloth Bears, leopards, and wolves) There is also abundant birdlife in the sanctuary. You can easily spot grey jungle fowl and doves, as well as white-breasted kingfishers, parakeets, pigeons and pigeons. Kumbhalgarh’s natural beauty is its most striking feature.
